When good things come, they keep coming! After seeing the Red Bull car at Inorbit mall in Mumbai click here to know more Today I got a chance to see it in action ! :D
David Coulthard, in the cockpit of the very powerful Formula One Car entertained the crowds in Mumbai. He crossed the Bandra – Worli Sealink and then entertained the crowds as he did the ‘donut’ and zoomed past the crowd, with the Red Bull F1 engine’s sound echoing all over!
Here is a video taken by me with my Nokia N95 8GB (it’s not such a good one) as David drove past
And this video (below) taken by my Good Friend Eurisca with her Nokia N95. She had a better positon as she was one of the Marshals at the event! (Thanks Euri!) :)
It’s such amazing feeling to hear the Red Bull V10 engine run! the sound is LOUUUD and more like an airplane on a run-way! :D F1 is an awesome sport!
Thanks to Red Bull, David Coulthard and every other person who was responsible for this event!

If you have only seen F1 cars on TV or in photos, the car may feel very small… BUT BUT if you think it is small you are WRONG! the car is BIG and LONG! I was surprised!

Hmm..... long time no POST !! LOL
Wel really its been a long time now since I have last posted on my favorite topic 'F1'. Ah. thats mainly because i have been busy these days and this yet continues.'
Well I loved today's Race at Istanbul! A real stunner !
Very very happy to see both of the ferrari's on the podium !. especially Filipe Massa !. His hat-trick of wins at Turkey is starting to prove that this place is made for him !
but would have been better had it been a Ferrari one-two ! but no problem as long as both Ferrari's on the podium!!!
now waiting for my favorite Race that is the 'Grand Prix of Monaco' !
Ferrari as expected dominated the Malaysian Grand Prix, especially Kimi Raikkonnen, he proved to be a champion, truly when he overtook Massa in-and out- of the pits....
Sad to see Massa lose it so easily just because of a minor driving error... This incident proved that F1 is tottaly unpredictable !! Even toyota's performance was brilliant !!
anyways a awesome race for Ferrari and Mclaren although their penalties...
Hoping to see a ferrari One-Two at Bahrain..
What a start to the 2008 formula one season !! actually the dramas started with Qualifying itself ! Kimi Raikkonen having problems with his car in Qualifying....But he proved that he is a Formula One Champ by his remarkable progress in the race on the One pit-stop strategy.Well things didnt go his way nor Massa's way and both the Ferraris didnt make it to the finish.
The day belonged to Lewis Hamilton and his McLaren.Fron the start to the finsh he dominated the race. His team-mate Hekki Kovalienen was'nt that lucky though.A good race for Nick Heidfeld and Nico Rosberg. Well bad day for Ferrari.hoping the Malaysian Grand Prix will be pay back time from Ferrari !
What a way to end the season ! Interlagos is "the" place to end an F1 season !!! Seeing Kimi win the champioship in such an expected fashion was just Marvellous !! He did it Superbly !!
Well the moment that took the race and the championship from Hamilton was the first corner and the lap on which he slowed down. Also Kimi overtaking Massa on the way out of the Pits was just Spot On !!
Well Interlagos is just the right place to end the championship season as we cant expect anything to happen. Congratulating the newly crowned champion Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrarri !! Go Ferrari !!!!
Wow what a race !! this proves that F1 has become totally unpredictable !! superb !! What a Joy to see Hamilton retire in that fashion ! it was just like a racehorse falling !!
Im even more happy because its Ferrari's 200th Grand Prix victory ! and seeing Raikkonen win made me even more delighted ! Now i just hope that Raikkonen can wrap up the season by winning the Championship in Brazil at Interlagos ! my only Message to Ferrari is " Go Ferrari !!!!!! "
Im tired of seeing a Mclaren on the top step of the podium. I always anxiously wait for a ferrari to win and i end up seeing a Mclaren taking all the glory. so sad. So ive made up my mind no more reviewing till ferrari wins !
I hope my thoughts reach ferrari and they make me start writing
big-time by winning the remaining races !!!
Wow what a beautiful race and even better to see
Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen finish first and second in Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix after a dominant performance from Ferrari in Istanbul.Fernando Alonso was a distant third for McLaren, cutting team mate Lewis Hamilton's championship lead to just five points. Hamilton came home fifth behind BMW's Nick Heidfeld after a late puncture.
Whatever chance Hamilton had of victory - and it was always a slim one given the pace of the Ferraris - disappeared when his MP4-22’s right-front Bridgestone tyre failed on the 43rd lap.
The F2007s of Massa and Raikkonen had run ahead of him all the way (barring the first pit stops), and had just made their last ones (lap 41 for the Finn, lap 42 for the Brazilian) when bad luck struck the Englishman.
He was very fortunate to be able to limp back to the pits for his final set of tyres - the medium (softer) compound for the first time - and resumed fifth. Crucially, however, Alonso had swept by to take third place, with Heidfeld fourth.
The result moves Massa to third place overall again in the driver standings with 69 points, one ahead of Raikkonen, but now Alonso is back within five points of Hamilton, 79 to 84.
Until that moment of drama it was a relatively quiet race, especially since only Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Spyker’s Adrian Sutil retired, on laps nine and 55 respectively.
Massa led throughout, while Raikkonen beat Hamilton off the line and hunted his team mate down just before their second stops, but could not mount a real challenge. Thereafter they toured home, just as Alonso toured round in third well ahead of Heidfeld after initially dropping behind both BMWs at the start.
Raikkonen amused himself by dropping 7.4s back on lap 56 before setting the fastest lap of the race - 1m 27.295s - on lap 57. By the flag he was 2.2s adrift of Massa, with Alonso a further 23.9s behind.
After Heidfeld and Hamilton, another strong drive from Heikki Kovalainen reaped sixth place for Renault. With Hamilton nursing a damaged front wing following his puncture, the Finn could sense fifth, but in the end crossed the line a second adrift of the McLaren. Behind them Nico Rosberg put in a great performance to keep his Williams just ahead of Robert Kubica’s BMW Sauber for the final points.
Giancarlo Fisichella was ninth from David Coulthard in the Red Bull and Alex Wurz in the Williams, and behind them Toyota and Honda staged a spirited battle over 12th that fell eventually to a lapped Ralf Schumacher from Jenson Button and Super Aguri’s Anthony Davidson.
Tonio Liuzzi made a brilliant start and drove a stormer to hold off Davidson until the second stops, and by the flag kept Jarno Trulli’s Toyota in his Toro Rosso’s mirrors as he took 15th. Trulli had a miserable afternoon from the start, when he was tipped into a spin at Turn One, dropping him from ninth on the grid to 21st on lap one.
Rubens Barrichello was an unhappy 17th from Takuma Sato’s Super Aguri, with a lacklustre-looking Sebastian Vettel struggling initially to stay ahead of Sutil’s Spyker. He finished ahead of it after his fellow German lost a lot of time during his first pit stop before stopping with three laps to go, but by the flag the only running car behind him was Sakon Yamamoto’s Spyker.
In the constructors’ championship, McLaren retain their lead with148 points to Ferrari’s 137
Well even I dont know how long its been since i last wrote reviews. Sorry Guys,I was really busy. So resuming it now.
Today McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton took a superb revenge on team mate Fernando Alonso at the Hungaroring, leading throughout the Hungarian Grand Prix to extend his championship points lead to seven over the Double World champion
Hamilton soon came under intense pressure from Kimi Raikkonen as the Ferrari indeed proved a lot better in the race trim than it had in qualifying.
Raikkonen easily got aheadof Nick Heidfeld in the BMW Sauber, but couldn’t quite muster the pace to challenge Hamilton, even though in traffic at times the gap between them was no more than half a second while some 40 seconds back, Heidfeld was challenged by Alonso but similarly had little trouble keeping the McLaren driver at bay to score the second podium of BMW Sauber’s season.
Fifth place fell to Heidfeld’s team mate Robert Kubica, who made a great start and enjoyed excellent pit work from his team, while Ralf Schumacher hung in there for sixth for Toyota ahead of Nico Rosberg in the Williams. Like Heidfeld, Rosberg made three stops, the third dropping him back from fifth place.
The final point went to Heikki Kovalainen after a hard race for Renault, from Red Bull’s Mark Webber. Toyota’s Jarno Trulli was a lapped 10th ahead of David Coulthard in the second Red Bull, while 12th was the subject of an intense fight between Renault’s Giancarlo Fisichella, Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Alex Wurz in the Williams, who finished in that order.
Takuma Sato was 15th for Super Aguri ahead of Toro Rosso debutant Sebastian Vettel, Adrian Sutil who had several off-track adventures in his Spyker, and a very unhappy Rubens Barrichello for Honda.
Vitantonio Liuzzi retired his Toro Rosso with mechanical problems, as did Jenson Button his Honda, while Anthony Davidson spun his Super Aguri after a clash with Fisichella, and Sakon Yamamoto lightly shunted his Spyker.
The victory gives Hamilton his third success of the season and 80 points, to Alonso’s 73, Raikkonen’s 60 and Massa’s 59. In the constructors’ championship, McLaren retain their lead over Ferrari but by a reduced 19-point margin following the FIA edict that they should not score constructors’ points in Hungary as penalty for Saturday’s qualifying incident. That decision could yet be overturned on appeal.i hope some action is taken by the FIA against McLaren's Pit Actions.
