When good things come, they keep coming! After seeing the Red Bull car at Inorbit mall in Mumbai click here to know more Today I got a chance to see it in action ! :D
David Coulthard, in the cockpit of the very powerful Formula One Car entertained the crowds in Mumbai. He crossed the Bandra – Worli Sealink and then entertained the crowds as he did the ‘donut’ and zoomed past the crowd, with the Red Bull F1 engine’s sound echoing all over!
Here is a video taken by me with my Nokia N95 8GB (it’s not such a good one) as David drove past
And this video (below) taken by my Good Friend Eurisca with her Nokia N95. She had a better positon as she was one of the Marshals at the event! (Thanks Euri!) :)
It’s such amazing feeling to hear the Red Bull V10 engine run! the sound is LOUUUD and more like an airplane on a run-way! :D F1 is an awesome sport!
Thanks to Red Bull, David Coulthard and every other person who was responsible for this event!
Today is one of the best days of my life… I am a BIG BIG fan of Formula One racing, and its my favourite sport! and today I got a chance to see an F1 car at Inorbit Mall Mumbai!
The Red Bull Formula One team has been on a tour in Mumbai since yesterday the 7th October, today the F1 car was showcased at Mumbai’s Inorbit Mall. I was very excited to be so near to a very very powerful car with so much advanced technology!
If you have only seen F1 cars on TV or in photos, the car may feel very small… BUT BUT if you think it is small you are WRONG! the car is BIG and LONG! I was surprised!
Here are some photos I took of the F1 car
David Coulthard, retired Red Bull and Formula One Driver is going to drive the Red Bull f1 on Mumbai’s famous Bandra – Worli Sea Link on Sunday 11th October. for more details click here. So will you be there?
THIS POST IS ALSO ON MY OTHER BLOG CLICK HERE
Here are some screenshots of the different styles of desktop arrangement on my laptop:
.
This was in January, as you can see I used icons and the gadgets on the sidebar.
As you can see no icons.. The dock at the top of the screen is Dell Dock.
One of my favorite wallpapers :D yea its a bit confusing for some people! you might not notice but at the top of the screen is rocketdock
here you can see rocketdock clearly. The gadgets are on the desktop and not on the sidebar. My favorite gadget is the one you see with the words "Metro Station" thats the Now Playing gadget, it gives you the lyrics to any song that is being played.. cool eh? get it from here
Rocketdock at the bottom of the screen which now looks like the dock the one in Mac
Got these wallpapers from Windows 7. yea I have windows 7 installed on my desktop computer which I use sometimes. Windows 7 got really good wallpapers.
Another favorite :D Kristen Stewart (Bella from twilight) wallpaper. looks good right? :P
Here you can see a blue thingy on the screen. its a Really good looking twitter client named Blu. you can download it here
So which one do you like?
Since the past week many people have died in India because of Swine Flu. This disease is spreading FAST...
Who would have thought that the cute piggy would cause such havoc...
Its become such a pain, the air here in Indian cities (especially Pune and Mumbai) has become unsafe to breathe.
People being advised to wear masks while outside. Its really sad to see such things happen. I just hope and pray that everyone stays safe and the pandemic disease is fought well...
Take care people!!
Time for a post on movies this time :D. Last week on wednesday I wacthed my first 3D movie! I watched Ice Age 3 in 3D and it was great! although those glasses did hurt my nose a bit :P Hats-off to the animators and all those who help in making these films so good!
was really fun!
Then on saturday we watched Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. I was expecting it to be good but then I feel it was kinda boring :| The first half was exciting but got bring as time passed and then the second half was like the movie was fast forwarded... evrything just happnend so fast!!! LOL :P My friend who had read the book, said that the book was more exciting than the movie :P but then in the end we had a great time!
And Today I watched the best movie of these three! : Terminator Salvation!
It was AWESOME!! I really liked the older terminator movies and this was even more better! the robots, the story etc. etc was too good! just loved it !! I hope they make more movies like these! You guys should really watch terminator if you haven't yet! you will not regret it!
Nowdays the Monsoons in Mumbai always create trouble... I don't know how but it somehow manages to do it every year. I guess its us citizens to be blamed as it is we who throw stuff on the road, railway tracks etc etc. which goes on to block the drainage systems, then we blame the Municipal Corporation...
The cleaners are human beings. we can't expect them to be working 24x7 . We have to help them by doing our part in keeping the city clean...
Couple of days back I had been to Lamington Road in Mumbai Central famous for computer stuff etc. this place is situated in the heart of Mumbai but take a look what I got to see:
Drains were over-flowing, roads closed and obviously no stores open. This is so sad.... when will you people wake up!!
Just wanted to share this song over here, nothing else to write about at this moment, One of my favorites, a song that I will never forget, the Artist who was a real Entertainer - The King of Pop
A Sad sad day... I wake up only to hear the King of Pop is no longer with us..... A BIG loss for this world...
Michael Jackson, 'the King of Pop' as he is rightly called.. has died... I still can't believe it.. When I heard the news I was like "NO this can't happen..." very shocked. I've grown up listening to his songs, "you are not alone", "black or white" "they don't care about us" are my favorties still... but I guess I had to witness this sad day...
We will really miss you MJ! Rest In Peace King of Pop...
Yea been a long time now since my last post.. everytime I create a post I tell myself.. "from now on I'll try and post MORE often.. But I guess that never happens...." well nevermind that...
Today was in "proper" Mumbai and I found this guy who sells stamps of all countries of most of the years.. he has coins, currency notes etc etc... all antiques! I mean he was really cool! (too bad I could'nt take his pic) he wore a nice hat too :P
ain't this stuff cool ?
